Friday, February 22, has been proclaimed work free by the government of Nigeria. This was contained in an announcement on Wednesday by the Ministry of Interior.
“Government proclaims Friday 22, February 2019 as without work day. Those giving fundamental obligations and brokers/bankers are prohibited.
“The public holiday is to empower residents come back to their poling units for the reschedule Presidential and National Assembly races.
“Security organizations have been coordinated to guarantee well being of lives and property previously, amid and after the general race,” the announcement said.
