Godswill Akpabio Pulls Out Of Akwa Ibom Senatorial Rerun

Godswill Akpabio, minister of Niger Delta Affairs, has written a letter to Adams Oshiomhole, APC National chairman, telling him that he would rather specialise in the duty of being a minister instead of contesting in Akwa Ibom Northwest legislator rerun scheduled for January 2020.

Akpabio had headed to the court to challenge the ending of Chris Ekpeyong of the Peoples political party (PDP) World Health Organization defeated him throughout the February poll.

The court in its ruling ordered a rerun in Essien Udim regime space wherever Akpabio hails from.
