Alleged extortion of $24,000: Shehu Sani shuns lie detector test

Shehu Sani shuns lie detector test; The dramatization over the alleged extortion of $24,000 purportedly coerced from a businessperson proceeded on Monday with the suspect, Senator Shehu Sani, declining to take an untruth finder test.

Sani said he liked to depend on the Holy Qur’an than exposing himself to Polygraph, which can distinguish on the off chance that he lied on promise. Likewise, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ASD Motors, Alhaji Sani Dauda, who is the complainant, has not pulled back his request against the Senator.

Dauda, who has been feeling the squeeze to pull back his request, will show up tomorrow before the EFCC examination group. Both Sani and his significant other may experience polygraph tomorrow.

It was found out that the representative was moved out of his detainment cell on Monday to the Polygraph Clinic in the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) add in Wuse 2, Abuja. Yet, after arriving at the polygraph machine, the representative said he would not expose himself to a “lie locator test”.

He was cited as saying:

“I won’t take the test; I do not trust the machine. I am not sure whether or not the machine is working well.

“Instead of polygraph, give me the Holy Qur’an to swear with.”

It was however noted that the EFCC detectives later asked Senator Sani to “put his resistance in a statement on oath for record purposes”.
